After Qafila Oula, Beyond Qafila Thania, Qafila Thalitha and Qafila Rabiaa it is time to Qafila Khamisa (the fith caravan) that we did between October and November 2021.
For the first time we walked in Mauritania an opportunity of better understanding the Sahara desert from the south shore. We were supposed to walk from Tichit to Ouadane but two days before the departing date, one of the guide had a problem and we had to change the itinerary. Finally we did Chinguetti-Tidjikja, a 280 km walk that took us 13 days.
